Friday, July 1, 2011: Jason Draheim, explores the envelope of unexpected sky-fllled opportunities that all started with a desire to learn to fly. October, 2010 Draheim attended the weekend ground school and passed the FAA Private Pilot knowledge test. Thirty hours of accelerated flight training later, Draheim encountered two unexpected distractions simultaneously; a medical glitch that would take a few months to get sorted out and a new aviation career that would utilize his University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point education in Land Management. Jason Draheim applied for and was hired 4 months later as the new Airport Manager for the Stevens Point Municipal Airport (KSTE).
