N1682J–Piper Cherokee PA-28-160
Am I High Aviation uses the venerable Piper Cherokee for primary and instrument training–just like UND does. N1682J is a beautiful airplane inside and out with completely updated modern avionics including Garmin 430, Electronics International engine analyzer, and all-new instruments installed in 2006! Juliet is fully IFR equipped and capable. In 2009 the engine was upgraded to a 160 Horsepower Lycoming O-320-E2A. Juliet is not your typical rental airplane; it’s as nice as you would keep your own airplane!
Our Commercial, CFI, and ATP students will train in one of the High-Performance and Complex aircraft that we have made arrangements for the use of. When the weather is down we train on one of two FAA approved Aviation Training Devices, including The Redbird Full Motion Simulator, the Elite RC-1, and/or the Elite BATD.
